Virgin Island Hopping. Honeymoon Part 2

After we spent two full days on St. Thomas we decided to venture off that island and see the other islands near us.
We were able to visit the island of Tortolla one of the British Virgin Islands. It was nice. But not much to do. We only stayed there a few hours. But the boat ride to the island was worth the trip. They have a large craft market but it was closed. So that was a bummer. We did speak to some locals that said we should try suba diving. Mr Butterscotch doesn't swim so that was out of the question. but if you are a fan of the water sports this would be a great place to visit!
You do need your passport to visit any of the British Virgin Islands. After all unless you come from the United Kingdom you are traveling to another country.



The next day we went to US island of St. Croix. This island had a bit more to offer.
That had a small mall and more shops. You can also visit Cruzan Rum Distillery. We went on a weekend so it wasn't open. But from what we heard you can taste some of the local rum.
We did learn about a law that the islands have that day. The heat was at least 90 degrees that day so Mr Butterscotch too off his tank top and was shirtless as we walked the streets. So a unmarked black SUV (which I still question the validity of this man, but I wasn't going to argue). He pull over and said in a thick accent "hey, island law, you must wear a shirt". Well we watch enough Dateline locked up aboard shows, so he put his shirt back on and on we went walking.

We headed back to St. Thomas and spent our remaining two days pool side and being newlyweds (wink). But all good things must come to an end. and I was so sad to leave and go back to the real world.
